How to Determine Your Skin Type

How to Determine Your Skin Type

Every person’s skin is unique, but there are a few common skin types that can help you to identify where you skin fits in the best.

The three main skin types are commonly referred to as Oily, Normal/Combination and Dry.

And if you know what type you have, it makes putting together your skincare regime a whole lot easier.

Let's see what you're working with!

How to determine your skin type

Cleanse your face thoroughly, gently pat dry and look into a mirror.

Repeat after me "Wow, you look so beautiful today!" Thank your lovely self for the compliment, and now take a closer look at your complexion.

Evaluate whether your skin feels dry, especially if you smile or make any other facial expressions. If your skin feels tight, your skin is likely dry.

If there is noticeable shine on your nose and forehead, your skin is mostly likely normal/combination.

If there is shine on your cheeks in addition to your forehead and nose, you most likely have oily skin.
