What Organic Ingredients To Look For In Your Skin Care (And What They Do)

What Organic Ingredients To Look For In Your Skin Care (And What They Do)

At Love Aly's, we are a big believer in natural, organic skincare. We know of many people who have tried out so many different products over the years, and they have found that nothing beats organic skincare and ingredients for their skin; ours too! It's tough to know where to start when you're looking for an all-natural cream or serum that uses only organic ingredients, though. Here are some of my favourite ingredients and why they work so well!

How To Find Natural, Organic Skincare

When shopping for natural, organic skincare, you want to ensure that the ingredients are organic and that the company has a sustainability mission. Look for organic labelling, which means that all ingredients in the product were grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.

When reading through an ingredient list, avoid products with artificial colours and fragrances (they may contain chemical preservatives). Additionally, be wary of sulphates like sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and parabens like methylparaben and propylparaben—these can irritate sensitive skin types or cause serious damage over time. Phthalates are another common irritant that shows up in many personal care products; they're used to prolong shelf life but may also disrupt hormone function when absorbed into your bloodstream through your skin.

Other Things To Look For In A Product

When deciding what to buy, keep these items in mind:

  • Cruelty-free. Make sure that the product is not tested on animals. This can be hard for some brands because of the manufacturing process or ingredients used. Still, most companies will have made their stance on animal testing clear on their website or social media (if they aren't already vegan). If you're looking at a local brand and can't find anything online, give them a call! They'll probably be more than happy to tell you whether they've been tested on animals or not. It's important to note that while cruelty-free doesn't always mean vegan (it's possible for certain ingredients like beeswax), it almost always means non-toxic—and definitely better than products containing harmful chemicals!

  • Made in Australia means less shipping pollution. Most products sold locally are better than imported ones anyway! You may also notice an increase in price if your product comes from overseas since import fees are involved when bringing goods into Australia which isn't included in its original cost. Another important factor when buying products made in Australia is that you're supporting a local business and the money goes straight back to your community.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip seed oil is the fruit of a rose plant, and it's rich in vitamins A, B and C. This makes it great for moisturising dry skin. Rosehip seed oil can also help with scars, eczema and even stretch marks! You can use rosehip seed oil on your face to soften fine lines and reduce wrinkles—just be sure to use a carrier oil (like coconut or jojoba) so that it doesn't clog your pores. If you have particularly sensitive skin but still want to try this amazing ingredient out, opt for water-based formulas instead of ones made with alcohol or other chemicals that might irritate those delicate areas more than necessary.

To buy: If you're looking for an organic rose hip product online, try the Skin So Soft Rejuvenating Moisturiser with Tamanu Oil and Vitamin B3. It can give you up to 18 hours of hydration and is perfect for dry, mature, damaged and sensitive skin. It's the perfect cream for skin repair and restoration and is also a great moisturiser for those who are suffering from acne and blemishes.

Pomegranate Seed Oil

What it is: Pomegranate Seed Oil is an emollient and anti-inflammatory ingredient that claims to help with acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. It's also said to be rich in antioxidants that can protect against free radicals while adding hydration to your skin.

How to use it: Pomegranate Seed Oil can be included in various products such as moisturisers and serums. If you're looking for a product online, you can find Pomegranate Seed Oil in the Miracle Plants Organic Facial Oil Serum. It's great for mature, normal, dry and sensitive skin and helps with skin repair, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as well as providing skin hydration.

Benefits: This oil has been reported by users as being effective in treating their skin conditions listed above because it prevents moisture loss which helps treat dryness issues associated with each condition (e.g., psoriasis). In addition, people have found that this product has helped keep their skin clear from breakouts caused by bacteria on the skin surface such as acne or rosacea flare-ups when used daily over time!

Safflower Seed Oil

Safflower oil is one of the best organic ingredients for skin care. It's lovely for acne-prone, dry and sensitive skin because it's full of antioxidants, omegas and other nutrients that fight off free radicals that can lead to wrinkles. It's also great for aging skin because it helps skin retain moisture over time. Safflower oil also works well with combination skin types: oily or dry areas can benefit from the nourishment safflower delivers while drier patches are protected from environmental damage by its SPF properties.

White Tea Extract

White tea extract is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, which you may be familiar with as green tea. It's a more delicate form of tea than its counterpart and tends to have more antioxidants, meaning that it can help fight free radicals in your skin.

White tea extract has been shown to help prevent sun damage and reduce inflammation (which leads to wrinkles), while green tea extract has not been studied as much in terms of these properties. Additionally, white tea extract contains a higher concentration of catechins than green because it's less processed when it's extracted—the same way black coffee contains more caffeine than its lighter counterpart.

These natural ingredients are good for your skin!

There are lots of reasons to want to use natural ingredients in your skincare products. First, they're better for the environment. Second, they're better for you. Third, they smell good! Natural ingredients are beneficial for your health and well-being in a variety of ways: They can help relieve stress; they boost immunity; they increase energy levels and improve sleep quality; they strengthen nails and hair while nourishing skin with antioxidants (which fight free radicals). Plus there's nothing like washing off toxic chemicals with a nice warm shower after a long day at work!

If you’re looking to try out some new skin care products, then we hope this article has given you some helpful tips on what ingredients to look for. Remember that the most beneficial ingredient is organic because it means it hasn’t been processed or stripped of its nutrients. In addition, other things like being cruelty-free or vegan may be important factors for you when choosing beauty products as well!
